This route begins in Covanera, in the Rudrón Valley and next to the N-623, where the Pozo Azul is located. Along the BU-514, we reach Sedano. The next stop is Moradillo de Sedano. Here, art lovers can enjoy the church of San Esteban. On the way back, we arrive in Gredilla de Sedano, with a beautiful Romanesque church. Returning to the N-623, we enter Valdelateja, next to the confluence of the Rudrón and the Ebro, and a starting point for hiking excursions.
The Santander road connects to Orbaneja del Castillo, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain, set on a rocky ledge where, at the top, a spring emerging from a cave creates picturesque waterfalls. Returning to the N-623 to continue towards Pesquera de Ebro, it is worth stopping in Escalada. Its Romanesque church and the manor house of Los Gallo are must-sees.
The region of Sedano and the Loras is a true paradise for rural tourism.
